A Polícia Federal (PF) cumpre hoje (21) oito mandados de busca e apreensão contra suspeitos de fraudarem o auxílio emergencial. Segundo a PF, o prejuízo causado pela organização criminosa pode chegar a R$ 1 milhão.
Os mandados da operação Decipit foram cumpridos nas cidades do Rio de Janeiro, Angra dos Reis (RJ), Barueri e Carapicuíba (ambas em SP).
De acordo com as investigações, o grupo usava listas de pessoas publicadas nos sites dos tribunais regionais eleitorais (TREs) que não votaram nas últimas três eleições.
Com essas informações, os suspeitos de fraude captavam dados em sites privados e faziam o cadastro no portal do governo federal.
A organização criminosa fazia, então, o requerimento indevido do benefício pelo aplicativo Caixa Tem.
As investigações também constataram que os suspeitos recorriam a outras fraudes como o cadastramento de chips de celular em nome dos beneficiários e documentos falsos. Isso servia para dar aparência de que o cadastro para o auxílio emergencial era verdadeiro.
O suspeito de liderar o grupo foi preso, em flagrante, por falsificação de documento, no bairro de Santíssimo, no Rio de Janeiro. Ele já tinha sido preso em 2016 pela Polícia Civil do Paraná por estelionato e falsificação de documentos. Além dele, outras cinco pessoas são investigadas pela operação Decipit.
A Polícia Federal não divulgou os nomes dos investigados.
